At Heartland Ciderworks, we’re passionate about crafting fine, award-winning ciders right here in the Willamette Valley, Oregon — the heartland of Oregon’s apple country. We’re a small-batch harvest cidery, meaning all of our ciders are made with the freshest apple harvest each year. We take pride in using locally-sourced apples to create ciders that truly reflect the rich flavors of this incredible region. Our goal is to celebrate the place we love by producing ciders that showcase the unique bounty of Oregon’s heartland.

Our Story

Heartland Ciderworks was founded in 2022 by Eliseo Bell-Uribe, a lifelong resident of the Willamette Valley. Eliseo’s passion for cider began at 21 with some less-than-perfect experiments, but his dedication to the craft led to the creation of our flagship cider, The Avalon. With the support of his family and his incredibly supportive wife, Eliseo launched Heartland Ciderworks with a vision to produce exceptional, locally-crafted ciders that celebrate the region he calls home.

Celebrating the Harvest with Award-Winning Ciders

At Heartland Ciderworks, we’re a harvest cidery. This means our ciders are crafted entirely with the annual apple harvest, ensuring the freshest and most seasonal flavors. We source our apples from the finest orchards in the Willamette Valley, alongside community-sourced fruit to minimize waste. Our commitment to natural production shines through in every bottle. We ferment our ciders at ambient temperature with minimal intervention, relying on gravity and time for natural clarification.

We offer a variety of handcrafted ciders made with minimal intervention and a deep respect for traditional techniques. Each harvest brings unique blends, and our ciders reflect the diversity and quality of the apples we source.

A Diverse Selection for Every Palate

We offer a range of award-winning ciders to suit every taste bud:

• Harvest Ciders (2023): These limited-edition ciders showcase the unique character of each year’s harvest. We offer traditional semi-dry varieties like The Avalon, alongside lighter options like The Little Apple and unique offerings like Tomber dans les Pommes with its French-style flair.  
• Modern Ciders: Here, you’ll find innovative creations like The Heart of the Valley, a special cider benefiting the Salem Boys and Girls Club. Made with hand-harvested apples and pears from Salem, this cider embodies our commitment to community and sustainability.
